Independent Medicare education. A little clarity goes a long way.

The PlanMatch guide

More clarity. Less overwhelm.

PlanMatch is an independent Medicare education website built around useful questions.

What we are here to do

Medicare decisions involve familiar concerns: keeping a doctor, paying for prescriptions, understanding a bill and getting the timing right. PlanMatch turns those concerns into plain-language guides and practical preparation tools.

You can read our articles and use the checklist without an account. We link to official sources so you can take the next step with the organization responsible for your coverage.

How to use the website

Start with Medicare basics if the terminology is new. Use coverage options to organize a comparison, or open the checklist when you are ready to prepare specific questions.

The journal explores one topic at a time, from medication lists to annual plan reviews.

What our content can and cannot do

Our public guides provide general education. They do not recommend a particular plan for you, determine eligibility, issue benefits or submit an enrollment. Plan documents, current service areas and individual circumstances matter.

PlanMatch is not affiliated with or endorsed by Medicare, CMS or any government agency. For official plan comparisons, use Medicare.gov.

A note about commercial activity

PlanMatch also operates campaign-specific call experiences that may connect visitors with insurance sales representatives. Call referrals may result in compensation. A commercial relationship does not make a benefit available to every visitor or establish that any plan is right for them.

The guides here do not rank plans, and there are no paid placements in the current journal. Read our editorial policy and privacy policy for more.
